Salvio

Together with the interior design, the graphic design aims to reinforce the brand’s tone of voice within its physical space. When planning Salvio’s signage, we used a global, conventional language that could be understood by any individual who entered the establishment and that would generate the same visual impact as its architecture. Its design had to be avant-garde, powerful and yet easy to understand.

Context

In this architectural icon of the city of Bogota, wood, plants and urban life are harmoniously integrated with the environment.

For its signage, we wanted a timeless typography, completely legible from a distance, with an urban character and uniform strokes for better reproducibility.

The iconography represents Salvio’s architectural concept which was inspired by trees. That is why the icons are composed of a single stroke, alluding to the branches of the tree, always in continuous growth. On the other hand, its thick strokes and outstanding vertices give it the urban character that is evident in the combination of wood and concrete.
